Hi
I have this radio http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152157156871? ... EBIDX%3AIT
I have it hooked up as a RXB6 and for some reason I am receiving a signal all the time. So I'm guessing the mega does not know what to do with the data its receiving.
See video of me explaining the problem and also showing that the receiver is reacting to RF signals.

The Radio is based of this chip http://www.xie-gang.com/SYN500R.pdf.
Am I screwed with this one and should just get a genuine RXB6? I was referred to buy this receiver from the my sensors forum, claiming that it had much less noise and was a good all around receiver.
Also. how does one program self learning receivers with RFLink?
Got 3 everflourish receiversockets that is self learning.
Constant about 2.1V on data pin.

Re: Constant about 2.1V on data pin.
RXB6 is using the same SYN500R receiver chip.
However, the PCB looks different than the RXB6. See e.g. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2502&start=10
Do you know, how the DER Pin (the one next to your data-out) is configured?
Maybe you need to tie it to GND in order to enable the receiver?
This Pin can either be configured as data-out, receiver enable or RSSI out.

Re: Constant about 2.1V on data pin.
From what I can tell they are both connected to the same pin on the SYN500R. There is a resistor in between data and the pin on the SYN500R.

By looking at this picture I see that DRE can be called RED aswell?

DER/DRE... whatever. It means, this pin can be either Data-Out, Rx-Enable or analog RSSI
@stuntteam: talking about receivers, what about support for the srx882?

Re: Constant about 2.1V on data pin.
hello!
Sorry you mail was in the spam folder.
I was misstaken, the DRE Pin is connected to the DIO pin on the SYN500R via a resistor. The data pin is connected directly to pin DIO on the SYN500R.
Will try to hook up DRE to GND when I get time.
