Read MQTT topic on ESPEasy

I am looking to use an MQTT topic value as an input for a rule. Is there a way of doing this?

For example if I have a /thermostat/set topic with a value I want the ESPEasy to compare the current DHT temperature reading to make a decision to flip a relay.

Hi,
you have to use MQTT import plugin and in the settings to subscribe to the topic /thermostat/set.
If is not already included in your espeasy version installation you will find it in the ESPEasy-Plugin-Playground.
After that, you have to write a rule base on the value you received from the topic.
