Enable AP mode of operation

Hi,

as part of the AAMP project, see https://www.letscontrolit.com/forum/vie ... f=2&t=3190, I need to implement the AP mode in the following scenarios:

1) WiFi connectivity as a client fails/ out of range
2) No WiFi client mode is configured

Thus I will be looking to add these feature, before I dig into doing so, it would be great to hear your ideas, suggestions and other thoughts as well as see if anyone has implemented this yet.
