Simulate Data Type?

Hi All,
I have searched the wiki and used the ? in the ESP Easy devices config page, but there is no information on what these actually do, or are they for future use.
Can someone explain to me or write up the explanation on the wiki for all to see.
I have configured most of them and they all seem to function the same.

Shame that the devs have put time into creating all these data types, and it appears nobody knows what they do.

You might try to open an issue on GitHub since that's where the devs hang most of the time.
