Hello,
i build a ir receiver with a TSOP4838.
When i pres the same button 10 times on the same remote i get sometimes different hex code's back.
What could cause this.

Re: ir receiver, not a constant output
Hello,
this often is a result of unfiltered power supply.
The datasheet recommends a R/C filter within the connection from 3.3V to the Vs pin of the tsop.
Search the wiki for "Basics", select "Taming False Positves" and look for the
"Filter Type 1" description.
For the tsop try a resistor of 100Ohm and a capacitor of 47uF.
