Hello
I am using some 8266 v12e units in combination with domoticz.
on one unit I have a DHT 22 unit and on another the TSL2561 light-measuring unit.
Both work but the 2561 stops working when the Lux value is zero. The unit can not be found in the WiFi network. Only a power off-on resets the unit.
When I change the senors on the 8266 the result is the same.
Does the unit go into a kind of sleep?
Regards,
Har

Re: TSL2561
There was a certain bug with this module and a fix in development release R43. Maybe you can try to update your module if your running an older release. You'll have to download it from github where the ESP Easy development branch is being hosted.
Re: TSL2561
Hello,
Thanks for the information. It works now prefect
With regard to the TSL2561 I have another question: Can it be used as Pulse Counter for pa the Ampy powermeter. This gives led pulses to indicate the power consumption or do I have to use another sensor.
I presume that the sensor mentioned as pulsecounter on the site , TCR5000, can not be used.
Regards and thanks a lot for the esay use of the ESP8266!

Har

Re: TSL2561
Same here I'm also running the esp 12e module with r039
Sometimes it runs 8 hours and sometimes only 50 minutes. I have to disconnect power and power up again to get it connected to wifi

Re: TSL2561
I update the firmware with https://github.com/ESP8266nu/ESPEasy/bl ... LS2561.ino
and now it works with the sensor for more than a week without interuption
