device var index not visible

Hi
I am using GIT version: v2.0.0-dev12 on ESP-12E
I noticed input filed for var index showing only once and then disappear or sometimes not visible at all
any one has same issue?
I tried all normal-test and dev files.

You mean the IDX field? That depends on the controller(s) you are using.
