Support for L293D Motor Shield?

#1 Post by T3mplate » 29 Sep 2017, 09:21

Hello,

I am using FHEM for my automation at home. That's why I found this project.

For my next project I need support for a "stepper motor". Thats why I need a Motor Shield.
Before I*ve heard about ESP Easy I bought a NodeMCU (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01E3CAVN6) and an L293D Motor Shield (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06XXV7WN7).
The ESP8266 is officially supported, the L293 is not on the list.

Is there any way to use the L293D or is the only way for my project (with ESP Easy) to buy the "WeMos D1 R2" and "Adafruit Motor Shield v2"?

Seen this?
Very cheap and simple to use A4988 stepper motor driver module.

I used this:

30+ ESP units for production and test. Ranging from control of heating equipment, flow sensing, floor temp sensing, energy calculation, floor thermostat, water usage, to an interactive "fun box" for my grandson. Mainly Wemos D1.
