I have a couple of events defined under the rules section which start timers and then switch gpio states. I can quite happily instigate these events using http requests as per the ESPEasy command reference below. Since event is a 'special' type, I gather I should also be able to trigger it using MQTT but seem unable to do this. Does anyone know if this actually works, Cannot find any examples on the web
Event Special Create an event, it's possible to send a float value along as well. event,<eventName>
event,<eventName>=<eventValue>
Many thanks
