ESPEasy doesn't save config

#1 Post by a_tom_s » 20 Jan 2018, 16:07

Hi all, I'm Tom and new to this forum as well as I'm new to ESP topic.
I bought a yunshan ESP8266 relay board (like this -> https://ucexperiment.wordpress.com/2016 ... ay-module/) and programmed it with ESPeasy (I took the ESPEasy_R147_4096.bin).
Everything is working as expected, on the config page of ESPEasy I set my configuration like static IP address and all the other configuration (and pressed confirm button!). But after a reboot the settings are all lost and the device starts again with the AP mode and waits for my input of Wifi data. What I'm doing wrong?
Flashing seems to work, at least I saw that it showed flash since boot (or similar text) was 10
Thanks for your help!

Maybe we should add a FAQ about these PUYA flash chips?

If you have indeed a PUYA chip, please report it here: https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEasy/issues/748

Yes, it seems like a huge issue on the horizon.

Might be a stupid question, but how can I see if PUYA flash chips are used? The board integrates a small Wemos board (see link from my first post, my device looks pretty identical).
On this it's written:
Wemos
Model ESP8266
ISM 2,4Ghz
PA +25dBm
802.11b/g/n

So only Wifi specification, but no hint on used flash type.
