esp-01S with R147 not starting anymore Error while reading/writing config.dat in 974
Hi
I uploaded r147 1024 to an ESP01S.
but it is not starting: no AP appears.
what can I check?
flash size is 1MB
INIT : Booting Build nr:147
WIFI : No SSID!
INIT : I2C
INIT : SPI not enabled
INIT : Boot OK
INIT : Normal boot
WD : Uptime 0 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 25592
WD : Uptime 1 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 25560
WD : Uptime 1 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 25528
also tried newest:
INIT : Booting version: v2.0-20180113
INIT : Warm boot #101
FS : Mounting...
FS : Mount successful, used 1255 bytes of 113201
RESET: Resetting factory defaults...
RESET: Warm boot, reset count: 3
RESET: Too many resets, protecting your flash memory (powercycle to solve this)
FS : Error while reading/writing config.dat in 974
how can I solve this
how to complete erase the flash storage?

Can you identify the flash chip on the ESP-01S?
If there is "PUYA" written on the chip: This problem is investigated atm,
seems these chips newly introduced are not compatible with ESPEasy.

The physical chip. Is it marked "PUYA"?

If you have indeed a PUYA chip, please report it here: https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEasy/issues/748
You may want to try to take a picture with the mobile phone, or if you have a flatbed scanner...
Flatbed scanners are always very nice to take "pictures" of PCBs.
Sometimes you have to experiment with the orientation relative to the light tube in the scanner.
Most scanners still get a relative sharp image at a cm above the glass plate, so no need to remove big components.

One way is to replace the chip with another one. Not a long term solution but until a fix is found.
