Why 30 sec. till DeepSleep

Hello together

I have an Wemos D1 with an DHT22 temperature sensor connected and powered by 3xAAA batteries and activated deepsleep.
The measurement time I increased up to 10 minutes regarding power consumption.

On a scope I see, that it takes about 30 seconds till it goes into deepsleep.
Why so long? What can I do? Under devices a have just a delay of 2 seconds.

There are several timer loops active. Maybe the check for deep sleep is in one of the 'slower' ones?

What settings do you use to trigger deepsleep mode?

checked Sleep enable
Sleep delay 600
checked sleep on connection failure
