Wifi Status Led (Solved)
Hello all,
I have a question. Is it possible to switched off the Wifi Status Led? I used a Wemos D1 mini and a BMP280 for logging of temp, pressure and humidity in the bedroom.
But its pretty annoying during the night to see the blinking of the Wifi Status Led. The first time i saw i was thinking it was lightning.
Who have a answer how to solve it?

Re: Wifi Status Led
Am I misunderstanding you when I tell you to deactivate it under the hardware page?

Yep, that option did i saw, and my problem.grovkillen wrote: ↑20 Apr 2018, 14:31 Am I misunderstanding you when I tell you to deactivate it under the hardware page?
But what to do exactly, i didn't find it in the Wiki:
For example:
Wifi Status LED
GPIO → LED: GPIO 16 (D0)
GPIO boot states:
Pin mode 16 (D0): Output Low
Is this correct?
Re: Wifi Status Led
Wifi Status LED
GPIO → - None -
GPIO → - None -
Re: Wifi Status Led
Any hardware/software installed that uses the same GPIO port as the LED? I mean GPIO2 is the LED...
Re: Wifi Status Led
If one line (SDA or SCL) from I2C uses GPIO2 (if this is LED), than change it to another free one in the hardware menu

Re: Wifi Status Led
Did you power cycle after the removed setting?

Re: Wifi Status Led
I will do that after changing the gpio. Thanks.
Re: Wifi Status Led
Nope, I2C addresses are something on the I2C bus.
You have to check the GPIO pins on the ESP module.
The default setting for the used GPIO pins for I2C are GPIO4 & 5.
Just to make sure we're talking about the same here.
Re: Wifi Status Led
TD, you have absolute right. I wrote I2C address, but in my mind I meaning to change the GPIO ports.
