I can't flash it ( like D1 mini classic ) with Flashesp8266.exe

i dont know why ..
i also try to compile it with arduino die but i already have an error and i dont find a solution (espeasy serial type' has not been declared)

I'm using those too and I know they should be running fine.
How did you try to flash it and with what firmware version/build?
We currently don't have a build that uses 16MB of the flash, so you should use a 4M version.
Make sure you are using a proper USB cable.
If possible, try to flash it via an USB-3 interface on your computer, since those are able to deliver more power than USB2 ports.
Have you tried the (Windows) flash tool which is included in the ZIP file?
So things we need:
- Proper USB cable (most USB cables are too thin so they cause a voltage drop)
- USB port capable of delivering enough power (powered USB hub or USB3 port)
- Try reboot of PC, if the USB to serial chip is not being recognized by the flash tools.
Oh and about the external wifi antenna....
The default config of those boards is to use the onboard chip antenna. So if you want to use the external one, you need to move a 0-Ohm resistor on the PCB that now connects the chip antenna, to make it connect the external antenna plug.
And make sure that external antenna is always connected when you power on the ESP.

Hi,
I tried to flash the std 4M image into the minipro and somehow it worked.
However when connecting to it over wifi, I can select an AP, enter a password but then nothing happened.
A 16M image would help but don't know how to compile this, any help is be appreciated!
