MAX30100/30102 heartbeat and oxygenation sensor
I am thinking of making a pulse oximetry plugin for ESPEasy. Did anybody have any experience with this type of sensor?

Andreas Spiess had a video on these sensors less than 2 weeks ago.
He was testing some commercial devices, but I thought he also played a bit with some bare sensors.
I think there is for sure a demand for them, especially now with Corona.
If you let me know what specific sensor you plan to use, I will order a few myself so I can also test the plugin as soon as it is ready (or as soon as the sensors arrive, whichever comes first

I have both on the way from AliExpress, don't know which one comes first. As far as realize, the difference isn't big, hardwarewise it's basically the number of LEDs and optics, the rest should be the same. I definitely will ring as soon as one arrives, but I think 30102 should be a priority as 30100 is marked obsolete at Maxim site.

Just ordered 2 PCB models of the MAX30102.
The larger green board and the smaller purple board with the sensor as only component on one side. (easier to make a 3D printed enclosure for it)
Delivery is within 2 weeks, but Ali is rather quick in the deliveries last few weeks.

Not yet, they are still in my box of "sensos to implement".

Placing my answer here in order to be notified. I'll be interested too.
This example works flawlessly https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/Su ... 102-c2b4d8 and the the I²C scan of the latest espeasy finds them too.

Well, the I2C scanner just tries all viable addresses and reports the ones that seem to be 'alive', so that is kind of expected

Indeed, still a good sign though
