Lost remote
I lost the remote of my Brennenstuhl RCS 2044 switch. Can any one help me to get them working again.

Re: Lost remote
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question. This forum is about Espeasy. Is Brennenstuhl RCS 2044 switch supported by ESPeasy. Hope somebody will come forward and clarify.
Re: Lost remote
Well this subforum is about the RF-link, so I think it might be ontopic?
Re: Lost remote
it's about RF-link sorry,
I ony need the Packet structure for the Brennenstuhl RCS 2044 switch for 3 switches
Data:
10;Protocol Name;device address,button number;action;

Re: Lost remote
Have you checked The Brennenstuhl RCS 2044 switch's manufacturer's documentation? I assume it uses a uses a proprietary protocol.
Re: Lost remote
It largely depends on the type of Brennenstuhl device.
There are the models that follow the ARC protocol which have dip switches or wheels to set the device address.
There are also the models that use auto-learn with encrypted communication.
Both should be supported by RFLink.
However, the packet structure depends on the type.
If it is one of the auto-learn models you probably need to use:
10;EURODOMEST;03696b;0;ON;
10;EURODOMEST;03696b;1;ON;
10;EURODOMEST;03696b;2;ON;
and learn these addresses to the switches following the manufactureres rules

Re: Lost remote
@bidrohini, I have read the manual, but there is nothing mentioned about the protocol used.
@Stuntteam, thank you for your message!!
I am using the Brennenstuhl type with dip switches, presumably using the ARC protocol.
Do you also have a packet structure example for this?
