Servo command missing in Collection A

#1 Post by ut1545 » 04 Jun 2024, 09:40

Hello,

I'm trying to use Load Cell plugin (P067) witch is present in Collection A and Servo control but when I'm executing servo command (servo,0,12,90) through web interface, but receive "Command unknown: Servo,0,12,0" message. If I use "Normal" build, servo commands work perfectly but, of course, P067 is missing.

It seems that Collection x builds doesn't include the full set of Normal build plugins...

Is it true?

Thanks in advance,

The servo command is excluded from LIMIT_BUILD_SIZE builds, and all Collection builds for ESP8266 have that set...
As an alternative you can use an ESP32 board and build, that doesn't have that compile-time option set.

Thanks,

So, If I don't misunderstood, servo commands could be used in any ESP32 Collection build even with 4MB flash size. Is it right?

Well it might be disabled in 'custom' builds, but for all others, I don't see why it should have been disabled.
If you find any, please let me know.
