Setting value on dummy device

#1 Post by poe » 13 Aug 2016, 11:59

I want to use control?cmd to set a value on the dummy device.
In rules "taskvalueset 4,1,1" works just fine, but "http://#.#.#.#/control?cmd=taskvalueset 4,1,1" gives me a "Unknown or restricted command!".

I thought that every command from rules can be used with "control?cmd="

Am i doing it wrong, is it not possible or is there another way to set a value on a dummy device from a browser?

I have circumvented the problem by creating Increase and Decrease events to modify the setpoint. But I would like to get a reply like when you use the gpio command.
Is this possible, and if yes how?
I havent been able to find code examples that can do it.
