i am playing with SPIFFS to get it somehow working in ESPeasy (as webserver?)
and i found a really, really rich GUI for the ESP (open-source).
may really, really worth looking at it?

Very interesting project, thanks for the link.
As for SPIFFS in general: I think that would mean forking ESPEasy into a completely different version for modules with >= 4MB Flash.
Maybe something that's better left to the ESP32.

For small projects thats more than enough I think.
