I had an ESP the EspEasy flashed onto, but to start as a fresh one I've reflashed it (R78, had a static IP assigned to it by my router).
After reboot it connected to my router still having the previous config onboard, like SSID, pass but not the GPIO's defaults as I've set them earlier.
Is it normal?
Had it reconfigured but still unable to make it connect to my mqtt broker.
Thank you for your help and ideas.

read this post:went into the serial console to the R078 flashed esp12 and issued: "erase" (only the word).
waited to let this happen until the end..
then i did a cold start again, logged again into the default esp_0 wifi, set it up to my homelan again,
and than it worked.

Thank you, worked for me.
I've used R78 since it is still not clear for me where to find the bin files for the new release.
