Multiple esp8266 (07)

#1 Post by Tim- » 04 Apr 2016, 11:45

Hello

I was wondering if it is possible to connect multiple esp with each other.
if that is possible, how do I do that? can someone send me the basic code?

I gues I have to use an accepoint and connect all the others as a client?
If that is how it works can someone please send me the code for the accespoint and the code for a client?
And if it is possible I want to see if the client is connected or not,
by words or by blinking with an LED or someting like that.

Hope you guys can help me.

Sorry if i post this on the wrong topic and sorry if my english isn't correct.

Hi,

Not sure what you mean with 'connecting multiple esp's', however it's very easy to connect each ESP through the standard setup to your router/AP.
see http://www.esp8266.nu/index.php/ESPEasy.

With latest releases of ESPeasy you have the Wifi led feature available, showing that you are connected.

if you would like to have sensor values attached to one ESP being available in other connected ESPs, you should set the advanced setting ' global sync' on each esp and set the ' global sync' flag on the specific ESP/Task of which you like to distribute it's value.
