ESP Easy setup via Serial

#1 Post by yml020 » 26 Apr 2016, 10:46

Can anyone please give me the syntax of the "IP" command when setting up ESP Easy via the serial interface.

IP Set a static ip adress is the command. I need to set a static IP, with the GateWay and Sub-net mask.

I can set the following some connections are all correct:-
WifiSSID Set the SSID of your homenetwork. "WifiSSID yournetworkname"
WifiKey Set the WPA key of your homenetwork "WifiKey yoursecretkey"
WifiConnect Connect to wifi.

Any help will be appreciated.

That just plain does not work !?!?!
It says OK, but the "settings" still shows 0.0.0.0

Hi.
For some or other reason, on my side, there seems to be a problem.
I only wanted it for emergency setting in case something goes wrong, so it is not too important.
Thank you all for info.

Did you issue a reboot after the IP change?

I have just tried now again to change the IP of one of my working devices.
Change IP and reboot. Still stays on the old IP.

What worked for me is the following
IP xx.xx.xx.xx
save
reboot

Wait for reboot and then confirm with
settings
