Good Evening fromGermany.

My name is Thomas.
I'm a IT-Techie in the mid-fifties, nowadays far more in administrational tasks (papers, forms and did i mention papers?).
So i'm not new to computers but all new to home automation.
My main focus is into hardware, my programming times are gone for two decades now.

Actually i'm starting with first steps of home automation, collecting data with selfmade sensor boards based on ESP8266
and ESPEasy. The center device is planned with a Raspberry Pi running FHEM.
