Soon, itead comes out with a new sonoff-device withpower meter.
ESPeasy should run on it, but will it be possible to read out the data from that HLW8012 chip thats on that device. Unfortunately, this chip seems to be a very chinese one, I haven't found much information about it.
Update:
I found some information about that chip: http://www.tlola.com/en/Industry_Knowle ... 28/64.html
The writing is more or less sensless ununderstandable but lower down the page the is a picture. It seems that it puts out pulses: the CF1 output ranges from approx. 0 to 1500 Hz for 0 to 10 A.
How quick can espeasy count pulses? Is it worth a try to order?

Re: A new toy: Sonoff POW
Hi guys !
I have some news about it
I tried Espurna (instead of ESPEasy) and it works really well with my Sonoff Pow !
You can find the repository here : https://bitbucket.org/xoseperez/espurna/overview
I built the firmware with ArduinoIDE, you can find the how-to here : https://bitbucket.org/xoseperez/espurna ... uinoIDE.md
You need to checkout the version 1.5.0 (1.4.4 was not working for me)
I also tried "arendst/Sonoff-MQTT-OTA-Arduino" but was not working for me...
Thanks to Xose Pérez !
Good luck guys.
