Recover the acess point boot
Hi, I would like to know if there is a direct reboot esp8266 possibility in acces point to recover the config menu server. Today I use the terminal and I delete the ssid and wifikey to do it. Have you a best way to do it? Regards.

Hi,
you can shortcut RX and TX, and apply power on your ESP8266.
Cut power, remove the link between RX and TX, and apply power again.
This will enable you to retrieve access to ESP0.

ESPEasy running on ESP-12F self-made modules (with various sensors) and talking to Domoticz (hosted on RPi2)
Re: Recover the acess point boot
This trick worked for me, so let me start by saying thanks for the advice.
In my particular case it required an additional step to get the ESP back on the radar.
After a successful configuration of ESPeasy for a sensor, I wanted to move the sensor to a different floor (with different SSID) and therefore I altered the SSID in the ESPeasy configuration.
Unfortunately after rebooting the device I was not able to access it anymore, so I took of power, made a shortcut between RxD and TxD, applied power, let it run for a few seconds, took of power, removed the RxD-TxD shortcut and applied power again.
After rebooting I saw a lot of error messages on the console so I decided to set the device into flash mode and re flash it with ESPeasy firmware.
After re flashing it showed up as ESP_0 and I was able to access and configure it again as a newdevice.
Thanks,
Michel
