Hi to the group members.
I'm a recently retired digital micro-electronics/networking/programming lecturer.
I used Raspberry Pi(es), PIC microcontrollers and Arduinos to teach micro-electronics to my students.
Also designed and ran various practical projects for final year students.
I've been playing around with ESP8266-based nodes (Witty, WeMos and MCU boards) for some time.
Only just discovered ESP Easy. Having so much fun with it, as it's so quick and easy to get a "node" up and running.
My development set-up is a Raspberry Pi running MQTT (Mosquitto) and another Raspberry Pi running Node-Red.
I've got various nodes (some use Lua, but most are now ESP Easy enabled)talking to MQTT.
Most of the forum members seem to use Domoticz rather than Node-Red, so I may have to learn that control package.
Looking forward to contributing to the forum.
Cheers from David
