Hello everyone,
Has anyone been able to compile (with platformio) version 2.0.0-dev10 for the esp8266 with 512k flash?
I disabled almost all the plugins (below the minimal).
In the source code there is a minimum limit for 128K SPIFFS, why so much? 64K would be ideal for this board.
The compiled code exceeds 359Kb necessary if a 128K SPIFFS fs is used.
Any help ?

Indeed, ESPEasy Mega (now called v2.0.0) was especially designed for devices with 1Mb or more flash.
Just dont bother and buy a new one.

Or just use R120. It works well enough, what new features do you really want? Latest does not always equal best (well in this case)

FWIW, I was having trouble trying to sent an eventvalue with R120, couldn't get it to work.
Then I reloaded the ESP with the latest mega version, and it worked right away.
I like the mega version much better, will be upgrading all my ESPs to it.
