What's the delay time? Have you waited at least that time and then refresh the device page?

Re: BME280 not displaying values
Hi Tokn59,
I had the same when I connected mine up.
If you bought it off ebay, you may have been fraudulently sold a BMP not BME, as I was.
Configure it as a BMP280 and it will then display the temperature and air pressure.

Re: BME280 not displaying values
Hello, thanks for the info. I tried both and I know the sensor is working fine since it works with other software on AQrduino for example. I have tried to set multiple delays ranging from 10 - 60. What should IDX be ? Is that free to chose ? I am using the device in standalone mode.

Re: BME280 not displaying values
IDX should only be used if you are connecting to Domoticz. But if you want to keep it you need to set it >0.

Re: BME280 not displaying values
First step:
Check "advanced" --> "I2C-Scan".
The BME should show up there.
If it does not there is a cabling fault.
Most times this happened to me i've swapped SCL/SDA......
