ESP Easy - LmacRxBlk:1

#1 Post by cyberdrive » 29 Jan 2018, 17:42

Hiya community,

i am close to giving it up  i tested already different hardware (1x wemos d1, 3x esp8266 dev boards) and different sensors on different inputs - every attempt failed. I am using atm:
  • Wemos D1 & ESP Easy v2.0-20180124
  • DHT22
  • PIR Module
  • Reed-Switch module
What i figured out so far is that every esp i tried loses the connection every few seconds and connects again later. I don´t know why :| WIFI RSSI is -40dB and about 2m away from the router.

The PIR module is this one: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 75678.html
The reed module: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/Reed-sen ... 44249.html

On the reed module i configured a generic pulse counter. This one doesn´t lose the sum of the counts so my conclusion is, that the esp doesn´t reboot. MQTT and Web Interface is not reachable:

1750278 : DHT : Temperature: 22.00
1750278 : DHT : Humidity: 43.60

Other Sonoff switches with Tasmota are working as they are expected to.

Any idea?

Thx in advance for your help
Cy

then it´s working fine again for some secs/mins

edit: i saw it´s in the wrong topic now. Would an admin be so kind and move it to ESP Easy Software? Thanx!!!

i might got the problem in my config: the debounce time of 1000ms on the reed switch was too high. I reduced it to 10ms and now it seems to work

edit: nope - it´s not only the debounce... still having the errors after a reboot

How are the PIR and the reed switch connected to the ESP?
So what pins, what signals, how long are the cables, sufficient power?
Perhaps also a small drawing of the schematics used.

And if it keep failing, start smaller until it doesn't fail and then continue to increase complexity.

I think i got the problem tracked down. In case anyone gets the same error: try changing the delay values for sending the values to different points of time :)
