Hi!
Has anyone looked at the HLW032 chip?
Seem similar to the HLW8012 except output is serial (4800baud) and doesn't require calibration.
Electrodragon have a breakout board..

This looks similar to the CSE7766, maybe the plug-in will work? if not i bet it's an easy(ish) task to modify it.
Re: HLW8032
I received one of these modules and despite best efforts cannot get it to read the correct voltage (reads 270 instead of 230), shame!
Re: HLW8032
Hello,
I also purchased one board, but impossible to read it from my Arduino Nano. As I am in the debug mode, I need to keep the native serial port for the USB communication, so I tried to use the SoftwareSerial library.
but I don't see any way to configure it in the mode "8E1".
I am currently trying with the receive pin A4/D18. Should I try another one.
Many thanks to all,
Jean from Belgium
