Hi everybody,
I faced a problem while I'm setting up my ESP01 with the Pulse Counter.
I want to use 2 different Pulse Counter, one LJ12A3 to read the amount of water I'm using and the YF-B6 to see if I have some water licking. On the YF-B6 I have an NTC Thermistor that permit to me to read the water temperature.
I solder a jumper directly on the board and it works fine.
The problem coming up once on the devices page on my ESPEasy configuration. Once I set up the Pulse Counter on the GPIO0 and the Analog input A0 everything works fine, instead when I set up the second Pulse Counter on the GPIO2 the firmware doesn't work anymore and it is impossibile to change the configurations and I need to flash again to make it work until I set up again the 2 Pulse Counter and it stops again to work.
I tried with the ESP01 and a Sonoff as well and the problem is still the same. I even used 2 different types of firmware but the problem still persist.
Does anyone know how to solve it?
Thanks a lot,
Mattia

Re: Pulse Counter problem with ESPEasy
if i google gpio-0 gpio-2 i find instantly that this has something to do with boot flash and program
some pins can not be used for everything unless you take special care
why not use save options like gpio-12, 13 or 14
inside the esp you see a triangle behind the gpio pin if it can not be uses savely
so unless you want the maximum amount of pins connected i should go for the easy way (D5, D6)

Hi,
I tried to change the GPIO's and now I'm using the Gpio 12 and 14.
As you can see in the picture this is the configuration of my devices and then the log .
It continues to lose the connection even in this way.
What do you suggest to do?
Thanks a lot,
Mattia
