Re: Remote Access
Good morning TD-er, >> You could let the ESP connect to a MQTT broker and use specifically crafted messages/topics to send commands to ESPEasy. >> This can even be used to let ESPEasy fetch config or rules files or even a new firmware build if needed. Do you have an example for that? Kind regards Th...

Re: ESP-12f different analog inputs?
My firmware and build:
Binary Filename:⋄ ESP_Easy_mega_20221122_normal_ESP8266_1M_VCC
Build Platform:⋄ Linux-5.15.0-1022-azure-x86_64-with-glibc2.31
So it seems, that i need another build.
What version do you recommend for using the analog input (0 to 1V)

ESP-12f different analog inputs?
Hi there,
trying to build a automatic filling of water at my heating added an analog pressure sensor to the analog input.
Surprisingly i have one with the expected range from 0 to 1023 steps and one (same type and firmware) with 0 to 4095 steps.
Any explanation for that?

AP Mode and ESPEasy P2P Networking
Hi there, I've an installation where i use one ESP12f inside the house which communicates to another one outside by using the P2P networking (inside my private WLAN). Working fine. Is it possible to use the build-in AP-Mode doing the same communcation without a WLAN? I tried to set both Esps to AP-M...

Re: ESPEasy P2P Networking - sendTo - Help needed
Hi TD-er,
i'd activated the P2P Network at both sides and used a wrong TaskValueSet (4 instead of 5).
Now it works
Thanks

ESPEasy P2P Networking - sendTo - Help needed
Dear friends, at my ESP12f (Unit1) i messure the temperature with a DHT22. The value is found at device task-1 DHTo#T1. Now I need this value at my second ESP12f (Unit2) in the DummyDevice-task-4 (TaskValueSet 4,1,x) First i activated the ESPEasy P2P in the Controller-menu at both ESPs. Then i inser...

Re: ESP12f factory reset ? (Rx/Tx disabled)
At least i've solved the problem by connecting the RX and TX pins, power-up, waited for a minute, power-down, removing the jumper (RX-TX) and power-up. (all in running-mode) Then i've got a link to the ESP12f in AP-mode and could configure the device. :-) I tried it before. Don't know why it doesn't...

ESP12f factory reset ? (Rx/Tx disabled)
Dear users some weeks ago I developed a circuit with an Esp12f. (ESP_Easy_mega_20221209_collection_A_ESP8266_4M1M.bin) The RX/TX pins were changed to gpio-pins ! Today i hat to change the password of my Wifi and so i had to change that at the ESP12f too. First i tried to change the password per Wifi...

Re: L293D (DollaTech) Motor Drive + ESP8266 ESP12E
I tried to read the pressure sensor with its TM7711 chip by the HX711 device - and it works !!
It doesn't use a I2C interface. Only a Data/SCLK 2-wire protocol.
The problem with the motor shield for the ESP12E was my fault with a rule.
Now it works

Silly question:
where can i find these test.bin builds?
I would try to use the hx711 on a ESP12E/F.

L293D (DollaTech) Motor Drive + ESP8266 ESP12E
Hi there, working on a project which controls a DC motor and a DC valve i would like to use the motorshield with the L293D. This is a little board into which i stack the ESP12E. The ESP12E works fine. But I miss a device to control the L293D. https://www.ebay.de/itm/162774530925?var=461812461596 If ...

Firmware for a ESP12F Relay X1 (V1.2) board
What is the recommended firmware for the ESP12F Relay X1 (V1.2) board It has a 4MB flash. Tried ESP_Easy_mega_20221122_normal_ESP8266_1M_VCC (because i used it in a former project) - runs good. But with the 4MB flash i think it would be better to use a 4M1M version. But which? Is the ESP_Easy_mega_2...

Re: confused about firmware for sonoff th10 V.2.1
If i understand you right, a normal normal_ESP8266_1M_VCC will been added to the ESPEasy_binaries.zip (?) When does that happen (and when is it possible to download)? Is there a file archive with odler version of the 2.0 1M (VCC oder none)? Perhaps a link? Sorry, perhaps i don't catch it all, my eng...

Re: confused about firmware for sonoff th10 V.2.1
Thanks for answering. I'm not sure whether i need the MQTT at all. My aim is to set up a stand-alone system which controls a fan depending on sensors (by rules). I need at least two DHT22 at GIPO 4+14 and a relais at GIPO 12. And the rules must have the possibility to use the exponent and logarithmi...

Nobody there with a Sonoff Th10/16? I'm using the R120_1024. But in the rules i need 10^x and log(x). Not sure, but i think that in the last versions of the firmware this calculations shhould work... In the binaries I tried to find a up-to-date 1M firmware for my device. If i look i.e. at "ESP_...

confused about firmware for sonoff th10 V.2.1
Hello, now i'm really confused about the dozens of firmware version in the ESPEasy_binaries.zip First I found a zip called ESPEasy_R120.zip with a ESPEasy_R120_1024.bin and the flash.cmd. Can i use it for my device or do i need a special and newer one for the Sonoff th10? Or should i use the 2.0 ver...
