mmm
My serval esp function wel on the nice esp easy software.
Only 1.....
This 1 is after a few day disconnect from my Wifi signal.
Is there perhaps a option to make the signal stronger, in the software?
Perhaps a extra antenna?
or perhaps a keep a live with the Wifi option?
Or a reconnect setting, with a http command [ witch i can send whit domoticz every x time ]
Hope there is a solution.
A extra repeater is my last option.. [ have 2 in my house ]

Hi,
I' m not able to answer from software point of view.
Regarding hw, you can use wemos d1 mini pro with connector on external antenna
https://wiki.wemos.cc/products:d1:d1_mini_pro
Repeaters are not the best option. I recommend some strong wifi for exampe ubiquiti unifi ap

Better to have separate network subnet for sensors and route them where you want.

Re: ESP lost Wifi connection
Hello Dylantje,
is the signal really that weak or is it another problem?
Can you check please:
- Does the ESP come back into the network if you switch power off and back on after some seconds?
- What's the RSSI value? (On main page of ESPEasy from that device)
- Which version of ESPEasy?
I've seen some WiFi routers / accesspoints making trouble for what reason ever out of nothing.
So maybe restart the router too might help sometimes.
I agree with Vojtishek: I don't like WiFi Repeaters too
If it is really a very weak signal the DS mini Pro might be a good idea.
For those using self made circuitry the ESP-07S might be an alternative:
Basically this is a ESP-12 (NOT a 12E/F, no GPIO9/10 and SPI pins)), 4MB and only connector for an external antenna, no internal antenna.

Re: ESP lost Wifi connection
I thought there is a auto reconnect in the software?
Did you try to connect it to a laptop via usb?
check settings/state?
Located in Belgium, Bruges. Working on a full DIY domoticz setup with ESPEasy.
