ESP12 Wiring check
Hello! I am new to ESP8266. Can someone check my basic wiring idea? I want to have posibility to easy flash firmware with programmer and want use deep sleep mode. All with one LiIon battery.

Re: ESP12 Wiring check
Hello,
basically the circutiry is OK.
Two points should be mentioned:
- Place an additional 100nF capacitor (ceramic type) as close as possible to Vcc and GND of the ESP.
Yes i know you have a 100 nF already from Vcc to GND, but that one should be a close as possible to the HT7333
- The HT7333 is nice, but limited. It can take a absolute maximum of 250 mA. This is near to the power consumption of
the ESP-chip. Adding sensors and such might bring it over limits.

Re: ESP12 Wiring check
Thanks for your reply... in this project, i want create only temp sensor. Learning project for me. After this, i will go find alternative to HT733 ("smart" extension for old analog 1+n system). This will be ok now?

Re: ESP12 Wiring check
Looks good for me.
As far as i can see you use a single Lion cell.
This is worth a try but be aware that this might run into problems.
The voltage regulator always has a bit voltage loss - the battery goes down to 3,3V
relative quickly. Subtracting the loss of the regulator you might get below 3,3V for the chip.
Mighht or might not work.

Re: ESP12 Wiring check
Thinked about this and 2s2p LiIon for better capacity and more voltage will be fine

Re: ESP12 Wiring check
Instead of HT7333? Like Pololu S7V8F3? But what about stepup/down current draw? Isnt it higher than if I use HT7333? If yes, I can use only 2 parallel than instead of 2s2p
right?
