Hi all
i use a ESP Board to Masure Temp, Humidity and Air pressure.
The Place to use a Power Supply is not a Good Place. The sun shines directly on the ESP board in the morning. A good Place is without Power.
Use a power bank from you and can share with me experience how long it lasts before it needs to be loaded!!

Is it possible to put the ESP board in the shade and power it from a solar panel ???
One of my students has made a solar-powered weather station using a Wemos D1 Mini (ESP8266 running ESP-Easy).
He puts the board to sleep for 15-minutes (to save energy), then when it wakes up it takes some measurements and publishes them to Node-RED via MQTT, then goes to sleep.
If you want to try running it off of a powerbank then the time it will last depends on the mAh capacity of the powerbank.
Before he decided on using a solar panel he tried a powerbank and it only lasted 2 or 3 days before it needed charging.

An "Akku" is probably German for "battery". 
If heat, or temperature in general, is an issue. Then you should for sure not start using batteries.
That's a fire hazard waiting to happen.
You've probably seen temperature protection kicking in on a smart phone or car navigation. Those are there for a very good reason.

still, common in German is a battery but when saying 'Akku' (Akkumulator) we mean a rechargeable one.

In Dutch we also use "accu" for rechargeable ones.
But sadly the word "battery" and "accu" are very often mixed in conversations in Dutch.
