Support dust sensor

#1 Post by BertB » 01 Nov 2015, 16:14

As of R041the GP2Y10 Dust sensor is being supported.
I am working on the support of the PPD42 dust sensor, but I am also interested in the performance of the GP2Y10.
Furthermore, I like to know what type of device is chosen in Domoticz?

I have the sharp GP2Y10 dust sensor still in test, I am waiting for a box to built it in ;)
The following link is someone also using this sensor http://www.pocketmagic.net/sharp-gp2y10-dust-sensor/
In domoticz I use voltage as device.

This is what I get with PPD42 sensor. I use the percentage device in Domoticz.

I have looked up the PPD42 sensor and the PPD42 has more options as the Sharp GP2Y1010 but is also a little bit more expensive.
Do you use the PPD42 sensor with espeasy?

Hi Guys,

Here is Asia, the trend is to laser dust detectors which are way more accurate. They are between 15USD and 40USD.
Nova SDS011
Plantower G1 or G5

They are very stable and accurate:

It is used successfully in the project http://luftdaten.info
