Hi, (after many nights workin about it) this could be my final solution: - to limit the total energy consumption I've adopted bistable relais, so I need only the power to switch - (the bistable relais has two contacts, one for the load and the secodn to report the status of the switch back to esp32)...

Or will flood the CPU? Ath or TD-er will know how many serial devices the serial engine of ESPEasy can cope with but FWIW...

today a new issue on my system: I've finally connected the second Victron device. After the connection the signals from the first stops working
Then no other signals (also from the first)

@affinite : do you connect only gnd and tx or +5v too?

Anyway, with 10k between gpio0 and gnd it's worst: never boot! pushing button the green blinks but remain off

connected a capacitor 4.7uF (the lowest available in my lab) and seems work (first boot not, the other in short sequence everyone boots ok)
About the resistor between GPIO 0 and GND: I don't have any GPIO-0, I start from 1

nothing: I connect different gnd too:
When powering I geto only red led lights on
then i press RST ( or BOOT) and green led lights on and espeasy goes online

Since i don't press the unit stay idle with red led waiting

using the ESP32-s3 in the above pinout I guess if i could power it by two pin instead of USB connecor.
I try to connect 0 to gnd and 5v to "5v in" but the unit doesn't boot. It appen only if I press the RST button on the unit
How can I power (and boot) it without USB ?

why do you exclude something more compact? relais could become eight... I've seen the ULN2003 or the TBD62083APG. Is there something better?

what about the 5V / 3,3V ?
Victrons, Nextion (and GPS too) are powered by 5V so I've passed their data TX/RX throw a step down voltage

Sure! I've tested the first release last weekend, with problem about my syntax coding rules
Next weekend I'll be onboard updating the code. I will solve every problem using the ESP32-S3

The deepsleep was the strong point of my project :-D

But I've disabled the deepsleep in this weeks that I'm always connected working on the system

I the final version of my system there will be an input to wake in case of an alarm (I have a flooding switch sensor that activate the bilge pump)

Sorry I've never used I2C converter Then having one of those I2C to serial converters is probably the best way to go. do you mean something like this? usb to serial.png On my ESP32-S3 board there is 2 usb connector, one called USB and one UART so one for the power and one fro the seriale (the third)...

as I said otherwhere the first rules of my project is to be low-low-low consuption because it live onboard, conneced to a service battery (recharged by solar power) but... consuption has to be the low as possible
So using other nodes is not a way I like

in the DEVICE summary screen there is:
V:0.00
I:0.00
SOC:0.00
ERR:0.00
but inside the DEVICE screen it is allright...

This is strange, do you?
