NodeMCU V3 AI-Thinker version
I have problem with NodeMCU V3 with AI-Thinker 8266 module. I flashed it with different versions (with different loading speed 9600, 115200) of ESP Easy firmware but the device does not show up as an access point ESP_EASY_0 or ESP_0. After boot only blue led blinks one time ant that’s all. When I connect to module with COM connection via Putty I see only randomly generated characters. During loading firmware there is no problem – it looks like everything goes OK, blue led flash during programming etc. It’s not my first NodeMCU board and previously I had no problems with flashing it. Photos of my board in attachments. Any suggestions how to load firmware into this module?

I tried different baudrate, different firmware versions and size and still nothing. It’s seams like module is corrupt

Re: NodeMCU V3 AI-Thinker version
Did you find a resolution? Tried on a couple of boards (1 NodeMCU and 2 Wemos) and same issue. The led blinks once or twice and nothing else happens. Tried to flash more than 2 or 3 times on each of the devices.

You could try my Flasher (wrapper for the official command line tool), which will let you program the unit right after flash and connect to the wifi without the need for a AP.

Hope there isn't a PUYA chip under that metal cover.....

@grovkillen will give it a try tomorrow. Went through your Github page and believe it might solve my issue.
@budman1758 not sure about what chip is under the shield but my NodeMCU and Wemos boards were obtained over the past 3 to 4 months and when I try other WiFi-enabled programs they work okay.

@grovkillen you are the man!
Yes, it worked and actually flashing ESP8266 using your tool makes ESP Easy => ESP Easier! Don't have to disconnect my computer from network fiddle with access point etc.
